High Efficiency Furnaces – A Money Saving Investment In Comfort

A high efficiency furnace to be categorized as such, must convert 90% or more of the fuel consumed into heat for the home. Many furnaces exceed this 90% minimum and furnaces with more than 92% efficiency are classed as ultra high efficiency. This measure of efficiency is known as Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency or AFUE rating. Ultra high efficiency furnaces have ratings of up to 97%.
